Call for Abstracts
We warmly invite all Judicial Officers to share their valuable experiences and practical insights with colleagues. The symposium aims to foster dialogue, knowledge-sharing, and innovation in judicial administration, with a strong emphasis on practical strategies and experience-based solutions to enhance daily court operations.
The Judicial Service Association (JSA) proudly announces that the Judicial Symposium 2025 will be held during the JSA’s Annual Conference.
Sub-Themes (Include but not limited to):
- Efficient case and docket management practices
- Reducing court delays: Practical measures
- Use of technology and digital tools in courts
- Courtroom management and decorum
- Judicial decision writing techniques and time management
- Dealing with unrepresented or difficult litigants
- Collaboration with court staff and registries
- Stress management and judicial wellbeing
- Infrastructure challenges and local solutions
- Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) in regular court processes
Presentation Format
- Duration: 15–20 minutes including question time
- Language: English
- Ideal Topics: Short, practical topics directly relevant to day-to-day judicial work
- A pre-symposium practical session will be conducted for judges who wish to rehearse or refine their presentations.
