Judicial Service Association of Sri Lanka (JSASL) is the sole organization representing all the District Judges and Magistrates in Sri Lanka. It started as a welfare association with the aim of uplifting the personal and professional facilities of its members. Eventually, the JSA realized its duty should not be limited to the welfare of its members. The JSA firmly believes that sustainable judicial independence could only be achieved through the capacity building of the judges. Nowadays, it is dedicated not only in upholding the independence of the judiciary and promoting accountability among the judges but also to provide a forum for its members to further their professional and academic development.
